Holy Sh*t Bugs

Well how was your day? Mine was quiet, I spent the day scrubbing the house from top to bottom (Tyler's roommates came up for the night and did a number on the place), doing the laundry, and writing a paper outside in the sun. Quiet but efficient Sunday in my books. It has cooled down outside, so I moved my paper writing to the sitting room and curled up on the couch, surprisingly exhausted from scrubbing the scent of beer out of this house.

Ty said he would be home from work after dinner, which in boy time can mean ANYTHING seeing as it is now 9pm, so I had a plan to surprise him by having the house spotless and all the laundry done and was going to make him a treat blah blah blah..... Anyways I went downstairs to the basement fridge, just wanting to get a few ingredients and next thing I know the floor is CRAWLING IN MAGGOTS! Maggots everywhere! Our entire basement floor was covered and I obviously had no clue what to do about it!!!! I vacuumed them up once - which admittedly may have been a dumb move I'm not sure at this point - but they're already back!!! I am stranded on my couch feeling like there are bugging crawling all over me!!! I can't shake the feeling to save my life!

So for now while I panic over the growing number of maggots in my basement and except that I am not gutsy enough to handle this own my own, I plan to deal with this by hiding in the shower until either Tyler or our roommate get home to save me from the bugs.

Seriously, if anyone knows how to get rid of them without an exterminator because we can't call one until the morning PLEASE let me know!!!
